Traffic is flowing again on Highway 1 through Burnaby after a seven-car pileup.
The multi-car crash happened just before 10 p.m. last night eastbound near Willingdon Avenue.

The highway was completely blocked for about an hour as tow trucks loaded up the smashed cars and hauled them away.
It reopened fully at around 11:30 p.m.
There are no reports of any serious injuries.
It’s unknown what caused the collision or whether speed or alcohol were a factor.
