TORONTO – Students at Westmount Collegiate Institute in Thornhill, Ont. are returning to class after the school was evacuated Monday morning following a threat.
York Regional Police said they received a call at 9:17 a.m. regarding the threat and decided on the evacuation procedure as a precaution.

The York Region District School Board said all students were safe and were moved to designated sites.
The building was deemed secure just before noon.
