MPI president and CEO Dan Guimond says the new facility is needed because the materials used to manufacture vehicles are changing.

“The auto body repair industry is going to experience significant changes in terms of it’s repair techniques,” said Guimond.

MPI will partner with several training organizations and institutions including Red River College in connection with the Centre.

“We recognize the importance of auto body repairers staying abreast of new vehicle design,” said Red River College president and CEO Paul Vogt.
