SASKATOON – An expansion at Saskatoon’s largest Catholic high school is complete. On Friday, officials gathered with Grade 8 to 12 students and teachers to celebrate the end of construction at Holy Cross.
“It was in need of upgrades and additions to provide a proper learning environment for our students and staff,” said Diane Boyko, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools board chair.

“Our students will have every opportunity to learn in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we’ll be able to better prepare them for opportunities that come their way after graduation.”

Upgrades included a gymnasium, five new classrooms and an industrial arts centre.
Holy Cross High School can now hold more than 1,100 students.
The Saskatchewan government committed over $29 million toward the project.
