A popular beach in Greater Victoria is closed until further notice.
Cadboro Bay Beach is closed after a number of needles were found this morning.
They washed off a boat that came aground during yesterday’s storm, according to the District of Saanich’s engineering department.
Transport Canada and Saanich staff are on site and working to remove the vessel.
If you see a needle, you’re asked to phone the Public Works line at 250-475-5599.
