‘Hungry bandits’ break into California home, raid the fridge

A hidden home security camera captures a different sort of burglary, as three men break into a home and help themselves to the contents of the refrigerator.

According to the San Jose Police Department, three men broke into a home on the 4000 block of Mia Circle around 1:30 PM on Aug. 17.

A home security camera captures the men ransacking the home, opening boxes, drawers, and cupboards.

But apparently the men didn’t eat before launching their grand heist, as it’s the refrigerator which repeatedly draws their interest.

One on occasion, one of the alleged thieves takes a long gulp from a carton of orange juice. Another grabs some cans of soda, and plenty of time is spent searching through the fridge for a particular item.

Apparently satisfied (or not) that they’re not going to find the food item they’re craving, the men finally end their search and depart the residence.

Police later arrested one of the suspects, Everth Amador, but are still not aware of the identity of the other two men.

They have released the home security footage on their YouTube channel in the hopes someone in the public might recognize them, if by their “I just drank some OJ!” celebration if nothing else.

Anyone with information is urged to contact San Jose Police.
