CHATSWORTH, Ont. – Provincial police say a collision on Highway 10 south of Owen Sound, Ont., has left a 73-year-old woman dead and six people injured.
Police say a northbound car crossed into the path of a southbound van on Tuesday afternoon in Chatsworth.

The driver of the car – Elaine McMurray of Grey Highlands – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her passenger – a 12-year-old girl from Owen Sound – suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in London, Ont.

The occupants of the van – a 39-year old woman from Chatsworth and four children between the ages of two and seven – suffered serious injuries.
Police say two of the children have since been transferred to a London hospital.
