Noah Gregor has 4 points as Warriors beat Blades 7-4

SASKATOON – Noah Gregor had a goal and three assists and Brody Willms made 41 saves as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Saskatoon Blades 7-4 on Friday night in Western Hockey League action. Dryden Hunt, Brayden Point and Brett Howden scored once and had an assist each for the Warriors (9-5-3), who snapped a three-game losing skid.

Jesse Shynkaruk, Blake Bargar and Nikita Popugaev rounded out the attack.

Nick Zajac had a goal and two assists for Saskatoon (7-7-3) with Josh Uhrich, Cameron Hausinger and Schael Higson adding the others.

Nik Amundrud started in net for the Blades but was lifted after turning aside 29-of-36 shots in 49:22. Brock Hamm stopped all seven shots he faced in relief.

Moose Jaw was 2 for 10 on the power play with Saskatoon converting once on five opportunities with the man advantage.

The Blades host the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday.
