2 teens killed in Port Elgin crash

PORT ELGIN, N.B. – Two teenagers are dead and another is in hospital in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash Friday.

RCMP received a call shortly after 8 p.m. Friday and responded to a crash scene near the intersection of Route 16 and East Main Road. Police say the car appeared to have left the road and rolled several times.

The victims, an 18-year-old male from Sackville and a 16-year-old male from Melrose, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 17-year-old male was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP are continuing their investigation.
