WATCH: Police release surveillance video of southeast Calgary robbery

CALGARY – Police have released video of a violent robbery at a southeast Calgary business that left two people injured.

It happened at the Action Hobby Canada Ltd. located in the 7000 block of Ogden Road S.E. just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Police said two men approached the cash desk with two items which they indicated they wanted to buy. However, as the storeowner began the transaction, the men grabbed the merchandise and dashed toward the door.

CCTV surveillance of the incident released by police on Friday shows the storeowner grabbing one suspect in an attempt to stop him from leaving the store.

According to investigators, the storeowner and his wife, as well as a few customers, chased the suspects into the parking lot where a struggle ensued.
