“Picture yourself as a tourist that’s coming to Saskatoon and you’re in the bus in the middle of winter when all the windows are fogged up,” said Jim McDonald, director of Saskatoon Transit.

At each location, a stop name shows up on a screen for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. An automated voice also calls out the location name for the visually impaired.

The system has been installed on over 95 per cent of Saskatoon Transit buses on regular routes.
