EDMONTON — A tip from the public led to a specialized bike being returned to an Edmonton woman who lives with cerebral palsy.
On Monday afternoon Edmonton police said the three-wheeled Norco bike was among several items stolen on Thursday morning when the woman’s garage was broken into. The incident happened near 131 Avenue and 125 Street sometime between 6 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.
“This bike is specially designed to assist with mobility issues and is invaluable to the owner,” said Const. Amber Maze with the Edmonton Police Service.
A few hours after police issued the plea, the metallic blue blue was found and returned to the family.
