EDMONTON – Police are searching for a suspect after a Spruce Grove gas station was robbed at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.
RCMP say a person wearing a mask and holding a handgun came into the Petro Canada Station on Mcleod Avenue at 4:47 p.m.
The armed robber, believed to be a man, pointed the handgun at the employee and demanded money. Money was put inside a bag and the suspect took off.
The employee wasn’t hurt.
The exact amount of the money stolen is still be determined.
The suspect is described as 5″9′ tall, about 180 lbs, wearing a black top and jeans.
