An early morning fire has destroyed a small house on a rural property in the Glenrosa area of West Kelowna.
The fire on Preston Road was reported at 5 a.m. Thursday by a neighbor. West Kelowna firefighters say the wooden structure was fully engulfed when they arrived on the scene.

It appears nobody was home when the fire broke out. It took fire crews more than two hours to put out the flames. They remained on the scene until mid-morning looking for hotspots and for clues as to what started the blaze.
A damage estimate is not yet available but the house is a complete write-off.
