A man facing charges related to shooting and injuring two RCMP officers near Sedgewick in February was in court for a bail hearing Tuesday morning.
Sawyer Clarke Robison, 27, is facing numerous new weapons charges as well as two counts of attempted murder in relation to the shooting of Constables Sheldon Shah and Sidney
Gaudette.
The two officers were wounded Feb. 7 while attempting to serve a search warrant on a property 10 kilometres southeast of Killam.
Robison’s uncle, Brad Clarke, was killed during the same incident.

Both RCMP officers were airlifted to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. They were released from hospital the next week.
Robison was arrested after a manhunt, which included an emotional plea from his parents to turn himself in. He has been in custody since his arrest.
According to Alberta Justice, Robison is facing 13 new charges, all of which were laid March 29.
Robison is now charged with two counts of discharging a firearm with intent, one count of intentionally discharging a firearm, five counts of possession of a prohibited firearm, one
count of illegally manufacturing or transferring a weapon and four counts of possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been removed.
The four guns alleged to have had their serial numbers removed are a Glock .22 handgun and three rifles, two of which were semi-automatic. Robison’s two attempted murder charges have been altered to specify that they involved a restricted or prohibited firearm.
Killam and Sedgewick are about 165 kilometres southeast of Edmonton.
