13-year-old boy caught by Saskatoon police in stolen vehicle

SASKATOON – A teen is facing a possession of stolen property charge after being caught in a stolen vehicle. The Saskatoon police air support unit first spotted a vehicle being driven erratically and in a dangerous manner Monday morning in the city’s north end.

Members of the unit were able to direct a canine unit to the vehicle. A traffic stop was then made near 45th Street.

The driver, a 13-year-old boy, was arrested without incident.

He is scheduled to appear Monday in Saskatoon provincial court.
