Saskatoon special constable charged with break, enter, theft, mischief

SASKATOON – A special constable with the Saskatoon police is facing charges after an incident related to a domestic dispute.

RCMP have charged special constable Fay Sanders with break, enter, theft and mischief.

Saskatoon police say in a news release that the charges follow an incident March 28 in the Vanscoy district.

The 58-year-old accused is an 11-year veteran of the Saskatoon police.

Sanders is currently on leave and the force is conducting an administrative review under the Saskatchewan Police Act.

Sanders is scheduled to appear in provincial court May 2.
