REGINA – RCMP are currently on the scene of a helicopter crash near the North Saskatchewan river.
RCMP were called at around 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon after reports of a helicopter crash north of Paynton, Saskatchewan.

Members from the Maidstone, Turtleford and Battlefords detachments are currently at the scene investigating the crash. STARS air ambulance has been dispatched from the Saskatoon base to attend the scene.
