REGINA – A 17-year-old boy is facing a number of charges following a two vehicle collision on Highway 11 near Lumsden.
The RCMP and Lumsden Fire Department responded to the scene at around 8 a.m. Wednesday. Initial investigation suggests a northbound car crossed the centre line, entered the southbound lane, and collided with a pick-up truck near a highway exit. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Both male drivers were treated on the scene for minor injuries and released by EMS. They were both the lone occupants of their vehicles.
The 17-year-old driver of the car was charged with driving while suspended and driving without due care and attention.
