Diane Finley keeps Haldimand-Norfolk in Conservative hands

Conservative Diane Finley kept her seat in the riding of Haldimand-Norfolk.

Finley defeated Liberal Joan Mouland in a race polls considered too close to call.

The riding is historically Conservative since 1979, only going Liberal red between 1988 and 1997. Finley won a relatively slim victory in 2004, but increased her margin of victory each time since, winning by over 13,000 votes in 2011.
