REGINA – Conservative Robert Gordon Kitchen has been elected as a first time MP for the Souris-Moose Mountain riding.
Kitchen was going up against NDP candidate Vicky O’Dell, Liberal candidate Steven Bebbington and Green Party candidate Bob Deptuck.
The Souris-Moose Mountain riding is a rural riding in southeast Saskatchewan, Souris-Moose Mountain was home to the Conservative Party’s largest margin of victory in Saskatchewan in 2011.

The riding boundaries are all of southeast Saskatchewan, it includes the cities of Weyburn and Estevan in the riding.

In the 2011 election retiring Conservative MP Ed Komarnicki defeated NDP candidate Allan Arthur by 55.3 per cent.
If elected all four of the candidates in this riding would become a first time MP.
Estevan is the largest city in this riding.
