A massive fire tore through and destroyed a strip mall in Dauphin, Manitoba Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze started around 1 p.m. at the Dauphin Village Mall on Main Street.

Reports say the fire sparked in a deep fryer in a popular restaurant in the mall. It then spread throughout the building, destroying a hair salon and the offices of Dauphin’s National Ukrainian Festival.
The fire is not considered suspicious and the cause is under investigation.
