Iran‘s powerful elite Revolutionary Guard opened the door of a secret underground missile base to state TV where medium – and long-range missiles were being stored.
The state TV on Wednesday aired footage of long tunnels, saying the missiles were on their launch pads, ready to be fired in case of an attack on the country.

The broadcast said the facility is one of hundreds of underground missile bases scattered across the country.
It didn’t disclose the location but said it was 500 meters under the ground.
General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guard’s aerospace branch, boasted that the subterranean launch facility is “tip of the iceberg” of the Guard’s military might.
It comes days after Iran said it has successfully test fired a new guided long-range ballistic surface-to-surface missile.
