Thousands sign anti-sewage petition in Montreal

MONTREAL – Citizens plan to present an anti-sewage petition to the Montreal downtown borough council Tuesday evening.

The petition aims to stop the city’s plans to send eight billion litres of raw sewage into the Saint-Lawrence river as part of the demolition of the Bonaventure expressway.
