Suspicious garage fire in Kelowna

KELOWNA – An early morning structure fire in Kelowna could be arson.

Just after 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, the KFD was called to a fire inside a detached garage on the 2400 block of Richter Street.

There flames were quickly extinguished.

There is minor damage to the building and some contents.

Police suspect it’s suspicious because a window had been smashed with some of the shards found inside the locked garage.

Fire department investigators will help RCMP determine the cause.
