KELOWNA–A garage fire stalled traffic on Glenmore Road near Lake Country for several hours on Sunday.
The fire broke out just before 11 a.m.
Fire crews blocked off the road to access the fire hydrants and park emergency vehicles.

One of the owners of the property, Helene Keuker, says the fire started in a car, when her husband put the battery in it.
The garage, car, and other contents were destroyed.
A load of logs that the couple had purchased to cut up and sell for firewood was also lost.
