SASKATOON – Shoppers at Midtown Plaza in downtown Saskatoon will have a little more time to make their purchases. The mall announced Wednesday it will be extending its evening hours.

Starting Oct. 5, the mall will be open until 7 p.m. on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Saturday’s, while Sunday shopping hours will be extended until 6 p.m.

Midtown Plaza officials said the change was in response to consultations with its major retailers and stakeholders.

“With several new-to-market retailers like Michael Kors and Aritzia opening at Midtown this fall, we’re confident these new hours will be a win for everyone – especially our customers,” said general manager Terry Napper.
