Stella Santana’s Wednesday was ruined after a reporter said on Twitter that her dad Carlos Santana was dead.

Stella Santana was reacting to the following tweet sent out by CBC reporter Chris Walker:

Walker has since deleted the tweets and corrected himself:

… and the incident may have led to a reunion between Stella and her father.

Meanwhile, the RCMP announced Wednesday morning that a missing senior named German Santana was dead. Osoyoos RCMP put out a media release Tuesday asking the public to be on the look out for the 65 year old who left Osoyoos on Sunday and never made it to his destination.
