WINNIPEG — As previously reported by Global News, Winnipeg police were dispatched to the Louise Bridge over the Red River Friday morning to reports of a body in the water.

An adult female was located in the water at roughly 8:15 a.m. and transported to hospital in critical condition according to a police news release Tuesday morning. The woman died in hospital.
At this point Winnipeg police do not believe foul play was involved.
