UPDATE: All advisories mentioned in this story have ended
SASKATOON – Environment Canada has ended a fog advisory for the cities of Saskatoon and Regina as well as much of central and south-eastern Saskatchewan. Near zero visibility in dense fog is expected overnight into early Friday.
A southeasterly flow of moist and mild air will bring fog patches to the region tonight.
As winds become light and temperatures gradually fall, widespread fog will develop and cause extensive near zero visibility, especially in rural areas from Estevan to Prince Albert and east to the Manitoba border.

Visibilities will be lowest between midnight and early Friday morning and improve quickly Friday.
Strong southerly winds will help better conditions in most areas by mid morning Friday.
Environment Canada says visibility may be significant and suddenly reduce to near zero and travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
Weather advisories for fog are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
Be sure to check in with Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline before heading out on the road this weekend.
