The partnership won’t be limited to online; it will also extend to the broadcast side of Global News. Global’s election special, Decision Canada, which will be hosted by Global National’s Dawna Friesen and The West Block’s Tom Clark, will use “cutting-edge data visualization technology”.

The partnership will also allow special guests, including Twitter Canada’s Steve Ladurantaye, to immediately share their analysis of the results as they come in.
