Construction begins on Ville Saint-Pierre interchange

MONTREAL – What would a Montreal commute be without its orange cones?

Anyone using the Ville Saint-Pierre may soon need to start looking for alternative routes.

Work on the interchange began Tuesday to replace joining structures and concrete slabs.

The Montreal-Toronto boulevard will be reduced to one lane in the eastbound direction for at least 45 days between First Avenue and Saint-Jacques Street.
