WINNIPEG — Headingley RCMP responded to the scene of a pedestrian collision at 12:26 a.m. Friday just north of Gunn Road on the Perimeter Highway.

When emergency crews arrived at the area they found a male pedestrian severely injured and transported him to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The pedestrian’s name will not be released.
