TORONTO – Toronto police have scheduled a press conference Friday morning to update an investigation on a fatal stabbing at Noble Park earlier this month.
One of two suspects involved in the incident has since surrendered to police and another is still at large.
Russell Sahadeo, 23, was fatally stabbed just after midnight on Sept. 6 after he and a friend were approached by two other men at a park near Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue.
Police said an argument ensued and one of the men stabbed the victim in the chest. Both suspects fled the scene in a car.
Sahadeo was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said 21-year-old Marcus Richard Lee turned himself in on Sept. 9 and faces a charge of second-degree murder.
The second suspect, identified as 20-year-old Ton Quoc Hoang Ngo, a.k.a. Tommy Ngo, is still wanted on second-degree murder.
He is described as Asian, approximately 5’7″ tall, with a slim build, and short black brush-cut hair, possibly with spikes on top.
