One person is dead after a crash in western Saskatchewan. Maidstone RCMP say the crash happened early Thursday morning between a pickup truck and a semi.

The driver of the truck was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police say Highway 675 and Township Road 3254 will be closed for several hours while they investigate.
