Smirnoff Ice products recalled by B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch

Calling it “in the interest of customer safety,” the BC Liquor Distribution Branch is recalling Smirnoff Ice coolers.

It’s due to the possibility of small fragments of glass in several different brands of the company’s coolers.

There are three types of coolers being sold in B.C. that have been recalled by the liquor distribution branch:

  • Smirnoff Ice 12-pack, 330ml bottle, lot number L5210
  • Smirnoff Ice Cranberry and Lime, 4-pack, 330ml bottle, lot number L5206
  • Smirnoff Ice Peach Bellini, 4-pack, 330ml bottle, lot number L5231

If you’ve bought these products, you’re asked to return them to the store where they were purchased to get a full refund.

Smirnoff’s Canadian supplier, Diageo Canada, has already voluntarily recalled several products.
