REGINA – Two people are facing numerous drug and weapon charges after police searched a home on Rae Street near 12th Avenue Friday evening.
Tommy Dykes, 36, and Rita Mohrbutter, 42, were arrested after officers seized a semi-automatic assault rifle, a .22 calibre rifle, morphine, three stolen bottles of prescription medicine and a small amount of cocaine.

Dykes faces 11 charges including:
- Three charges of Possession of Stolen Property
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of the Proceeds of Crime
- Two charges of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm
- Two charges of Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited
- Possession of Ammunition While Prohibited
- Possession of Morphine for the Purpose of Trafficking
Mohrbutter faces nine charges including:
- Three charges of Possession of Stolen Property
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Morphine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Two charges of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm
- Two charges of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Both Dykes and Mohrbutter have been remanded and will appear in court Tuesday morning.
