HALIFAX – Brookside Junior High to remain closed for now.
The Halifax Regional School Board says Brookside Junior High will not be opening until at least Thursday, September 10.
The board says crews have been working in the school since August 24 to clean mould from the first and second floors of the building, but they need more time for the cleanup.
Students and staff will be relocated until the school is ready to re-open.
Starting on Tuesday, September 28, the school board says grade 6 students will be relocated to the Terence Bay site of Atlantic Memorial – Terence Bay Elementary.
