Remains found near Rawdon

RAWDON, Qc – Human remains have been found in a wooded area in Rawdon, in the Lanaudière region.

Workers pruning the path along Vincent Massey Road discovered the remains Tuesday afternoon and called police, who arrived at the scene around 1:30 p.m.

The Sûreté du Québec said it is working to determine whether the remains are those of a missing person or the victim of a crime.
