Mounties are treating the suspicious death of 35-year-old man in Prince George on Sunday as a homicide.
According to RCMP, the man was found dead at about 8:40 a.m. near the end of Haldi Road. The man has been identified as Prince George resident Ian Matthew Begg.
Although police have not determined the cause of death, they are treating it as a homicide and have called in the Serious Crime and Forensic team to investigate.
Police would like to talk with anyone who was in contact with Begg over the past few days. He is described as a Caucasian male, 5’10” tall, 212 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police have closed a portion of Haldi Road while they investigate the scene.
