This week, the Seattle Times wrote an editorial calling on Victoria to get a sewage treatment plant.
In it, they wrote that if 130 million litres of raw sewage continues to be dumped in the Strait of Juan de Fuca everyday, Washington State should organize a tourism boycott – and bring back a certain infamous turd-shaped mascot.
