Rain forces GlobalFest to reschedule China, Philippine performances

CALGARY – GlobalFest is rescheduling two performances due to severe rain and weather conditions at Calgary’s Elliston Park this week.

China’s team will perform on Saturday, Aug. 22 and the Philippines team will perform on Sunday, Aug. 23 instead of their originally scheduled performances on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Organizers stressed only tickets for the China performance will be accepted on Saturday and Philippines tickets on Sunday.

Tickets are still available at all Calgary Customer Service Offices, Marlborough Mall, all Alberta London Drugs, and online at globalfest.ca.

The updated schedule is below:

Saturday, Aug. 22 – China

Sunday, Aug. 23 – Philippines

Tuesday, Aug. 25 – Spain

Thursday, Aug.27 – USA

Saturday, Aug.29 – Finale (Canada)
