TORONTO – A man is in hospital after being shot near Yonge and Gerrard in downtown Toronto overnight.
The incident happened sometime after midnight on Yonge Street in front of a McDonald’s restaurant.
Police say there was an altercation between a group of men that started inside and spilled outside where the victim was shot.
Police say the suspect is described as a white male in his 30s wearing a red shirt. No other descriptions were made available.
The victim remains in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
