WATCH ABOVE: A tourist broke into a couple’s Sydney home, removed his clothing and got into bed with them.
Imagine yourself snug in bed, your partner’s warmth keeping you toasty. But, you notice something is amiss. Something is wrong…and you open your eyes to find a completely naked stranger between your sheets.
A nightmare? For some, yes, but it was a reality for an Australian couple recently.
Maroubra natives Chris and Katie awoke Monday morning after Katie claimed to feel some extra body heat. That led to the discovery of a 25-year-old Irish tourist in their bed.
“So Chris is on one side, I’m in the middle, and then our stranger on the end right in with us,” Katie told reporters.
Not only was the suspect’s presence startling — he was also nude.
“That’s kind of the scary part, how long he may have been looking at us thinking it’s a good idea to get into bed with these guys.”
9 News indicated that Chris tried to keep the suspect in the backyard of the home until authorities arrived. However, according to police, he was able to regain access to the Sackville Street home and wandered inside until his arrest.
It’s believed he originally entered the home through a kitchen window left open for the couple’s pet cat.
The unnamed suspect was eventually brought to Prince of Wales Hospital, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, for possible drug-related issues after convulsing inside a police van.
