Live at Duffy trial: Former PMO staffer testifies for second day

The Mike Duffy fraud trial continues Tuesday as lawyers seek to find out who among Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s staff knew about the $90,000 secret repayment.

On Monday, new emails were presented in court, including one for Duffy’s former lawyer which advised him to characterize the the repayment as a “contract.”

And Chris Woodcock, the prime minister’s former director of issues management, testified the PMO thought the repayment could damage the Conservative brand.

Nigel Wright last week contradicted what Prime Minister Stephen Harper said about the $90,000 Wright paid to get Senator Duffy off the hook.

Harper has said only two people knew about the payment — Wright and Duffy.
