History: Glengarry-Prescott-Russell has been represented in the House of Commons since 1953. The PC Party won two elections here in 1957 and 1958. The Liberals took over in 1962 and held the seat for 44 years. Liberal MP Don Boudria held it from 1984 until he retired in 2006.
