Canadian Graham DeLaet has withdrawn from the PGA Championship.

The native of Weyburn, Sask., has struggled with a nagging injury in his left thumb.

So disappointed that I can't tee it up at the PGA. Need some time for my body to heal. I plan on being back and ready for a playoff run.

DeLaet withdrew from the RBC Canadian Open on July 24 because of the injury.

Sean O’Hair will take his place in the field.
