SASKATOON – A man has made off with cash after an armed robbery at a Saskatoon gas bar. The robbery happened Thursday around 6:45 a.m. at the business located in the 1600-block of 22nd Street West.

According to police, the man entered the gas bar and threatened to stab an employee with a screwdriver if cash wasn’t turned over.

He then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The screwdriver is described as being 10 inches long with a green handle.

Police say the suspect is an aboriginal man in his 20’s with a medium build and short black hair. He was wearing a black trap suit top with white stripping down the leg and blue jeans.
