Boundaries: Edmonton Manning includes the far northeast corner of the city, as well as a large area northeast of the city, up to the edge of Fort Saskatchewan. It is made up of a small part of the former Edmonton East, and a large part of the former Edmonton-Sherwood Park.

Last Election: In 2011, voters within the boundaries of this new riding voted 55 per cent for the Conservatives, followed by the NDP with 26 per cent.

History: This region has historically voted on the political right. The former riding of Edmonton-Sherwood Park elected Conservative Tim Uppal in 2008 and 2011. He is re-offering in another riding. Edmonton East was represented by Conservative Peter Goldring for 18 years.
