WorkSafeBC and the coroners office have been called out to investigate the death of a tree faller.
The accident happened Friday morning in a remote region of northern Vancouver Island, west of Port McNeill.

The man died while working for a company contracted by Western Forest Products.
A representative of the United Steel Workers says he was killed by a tree, but not the one he was working on.
No name has been released at this time.
